5:00 PM – Doors open. Voting opens & a cash bar is available.6:00 PM
– Voting closes. Buffet dinner served, followed by
the business meeting, elections & door prize drawing.
The annual membership meeting is a key piece of the credit union structure. It’s a unique opportunity to learn more about your credit union, connect with board members who represent you and engage with fellow members and employees.
Members aged 16+ are invited to participate in the board election. Members who cannot attend the Annual Meeting may request an absentee ballot below. Absentee ballots must be returned in-person to the credit union by April 25, 2025, or postmarked no later than April 25, 2025. Additionally, members may vote in-person at the Annual Meeting from 5:00-6:00 PM. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor.
Meet Your 2025 Board of Directors Candidates
Larry Faber (incumbent) earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Grand View College and spent his career in Workforce Development. A loyal Capitol View member for over 40 years, he has relied on it as his primary financial institution, even from over 100 miles away. Now serving on the board of directors, Larry values the great service he has received and the opportunity to give back.
Tara Ganpat-Puffett has been a dedicated credit union member since 1986, and previously served on the Capitol View Credit Union Board for 12 years, including roles on the Audit and Credit Committees, where she was Chair. She spent her career in public service, working for the City of Des Moines, the State of Iowa, and now the U.S. Government. Tara brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to financial stewardship.
Alison Radl has been a proud member of Capitol View Credit Union since 2000. With 30 years of service to the State of Iowa, she currently serves as an Information Security Officer with the Department of Management – Division of Information Technology (DOM DoIT). Alison holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a Master of Public Administration from Iowa State University.
